An awareness session aimed at preventing corruption was held at the National Academic Library

During the event, employees were informed about the key requirements of the anti-corruption legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and issues related to the prevention of corruption risks were discussed.
In particular, attention was drawn to the prohibition of accepting gifts in the course of official duties, the need to avoid conflicts of interest, the ban on the unlawful use of official information, and the requirement to use institutional resources strictly for work-related purposes.
In addition, employees were informed about the initiation of the internal analysis of corruption risks (ICRA) within the library and the step-by-step implementation of related measures.
At the conclusion of the event, it was emphasized that efforts to prevent corruption and ensure compliance with legal requirements will be carried out on an ongoing basis.
